 The impact of improper waste management extends beyond aesthetics. When we waste food and other biodegradable materials, we also waste all the energy and water expended in their production, transportation, and packaging. Additionally, when food and biodegradable waste ends up in landfills and decomposes, it produces methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Approximately 11% of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide come from the food system.

Our Innovative Approach

NoCarbon Energy’s approach to waste management goes beyond conventional practices. We have developed a groundbreaking solution with our Solar-Biogas Hybrid Plant. This unique technology combines solar photovoltaic systems with biogas production to create a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to waste management.

Our process begins with the collection of various types of waste, including municipal solid waste, agricultural waste, forest waste, and more. These waste materials are then processed within our hybrid plant, where they undergo decomposition to produce biogas.

Biodegradable waste decomposition within the plant prevents the release of methane into the atmosphere, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The biogas produced is used to generate clean and renewable electricity, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions and the production of green energy.
